triqs_dftkit.vasp.driver.Driver.run_initial_stage

Driver.run_initial_stage(**kwargs) → int

Start VASP, run initial SCF, and convert output to HDF5.

This forks VASP as a persistent background process, waits for the initial SCF to complete, then runs the PLO converter.
