ElkConverterTools.rotaxang(rot)[source]

This routine determines the axis of rotation vector (v) and the angle of rotation (th). If R corresponds to an improper rotation then only the proper part is used and the determinant is set to -1. The rotation convention follows the “right-hand rule”. See Elk’s rotaxang routine.
