gem.lattice.Lattice.load_lattice

static Lattice.load_lattice(filename, use_mpi=True, comm=None)[source]

Load the lattice parameters from a file.

Read-only, so unlike save_lattice() it needs no rank guard: every rank can call it and they all end up with the same lattice.

Parameters:

  • filename – str. Path to the file containing the lattice parameters.

  • use_mpi – bool, optional. Distribute the k-point sums over the ranks of comm (default: True). Ignored when mpi4py is absent.

  • comm – mpi4py communicator, optional. Defaults to MPI.COMM_WORLD.
